New Climate-Controlled Storage Units in Tempe, AZ
We have a lot of new climate-controlled storage units in Tempe, AZ. Beyond Self Storage at Tempe officially opened their doors for business on Friday, May 15, 2020. Many residents of the community will recognize the building as housing the newest metal art installation at the intersection of Priest and Ruby. The climate controlled facility is looking to fill 820 storage units and 26 highly sought after parking spaces.
Partnering with the City of Tempe
This location, although the second in the Phoenix area, is the first nationally to participate in a program similar to Tempe’s Art in Private Development. Director of Public Art Rebecca Blume Rothman stated, “The partnership between the city and the private development community showcases Tempe as a progressive City with a focus on aesthetics. We welcome the addition of the artwork at Beyond Self Storage into this collection and are so happy to have this great work available for residents and visitors to experience.”
The Inspiration Behind Chaos Restored
Local artist and owner of The Oxide Studio, Daniel Moore, was the driving creative force behind “Chaos Restored,” a fitting name for a building in an industry that focuses on decluttering and compartmentalizing. The 65 ft. tall by 35 ft. wide building face showcases contemporary metal sculptural pieces; the final result stunning due to combined efforts of Moore and Studio North, Beyond’s architectural firm and fellow NorthPoint Development subsidiary.
A Modern Storage Solution for Tempe Residents
The functionality of the storage facility itself boasts a drive thru loading and unloading zone, complimentary carts and dollies, controlled access security features, digital video security recording and motion lights. Packing and moving supplies are also popular add-on items; inventory includes boxes, locks and an assortment of protective covers.
What truly sets Beyond Self Storage apart from other self storage companies is their philosophy to operate by a set of Core Values that encourage their team members to “Take Ownership” over their business, strive to “Do the Right Thing Every Time,” and to “Live Generously” by finding ways to infuse their brand within the community and search for avenues to give back. These values set the tone for hiring and business operations to make Beyond Self Storage a stand-out partner for communities looking to address the storage needs of their community.
Making an Impact in the Local Community
“We are committed to being a dedicated community partner and look to form valuable business relationships in the Phoenix area. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to contribute to the city of Tempe in a beautiful and meaningful way before we even opened our doors,” stated Beyond’s Director of Operations, Jenna Bishop. Tempe’s AIPD representative Rothman agreed, “We are thrilled with the artwork at Beyond Self Storage.”
